Ideal Tank Size for Betta Splendens

Submitted by on 15 October 2010 – 11:30

What size tank ideal for betta splendens? These fundamental questions have appeared at forums Bettasplendens hobbyists, especially for beginner hobbyists. we know that in order to care for our Bettas so they have the best health possible you will need to give them conditions as close to their natural habitat as possible. The tank will need to be of the right size, not too large or too small.

When Bettas are about 1,5 up to 2 months old they will begin to fight with each other. It will be necessary to separate them one to a tank about this age. according to some references that we have read sait that the tank should not be smaller than a half gallon (about 2 liters) but at least a gallon is preferable, this is ideal tank size for betta splendens.
